One of the best games I ever played! Here are my personal saved games with 100% story and almost all game finished. I didn't kill all the flying rats (pigeons...) and did all the stunts but it's a pretty good save game. Check out the patch because it drastically improves frame rate and graphical bugs. There's no demo I'm afraid but the modding possibilities are huge...Enjoy!
I don't understand why they like to hide their saved games, but before extracting the archive and trying to copy the folders inside, make sure to disable hides folders. Then take the content to:
Vista C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames
XP C:\Documents and Settings\Yourusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames
This is very important. GTA 4 doesn't have the best optimization ever....So it's better to install the patch to increase frame rate and decrease graphical bugs. Just extract this, install and follow the instructions.

GTA 4 has huge modding possibilities. From cars, to skins and new models, there's a wide variety of mods that offer you brand new experience and a lot of fun! Due to the high number I cannot display them all on this page so I'll make links.
Tools - Use those only if you have experience in programming and modding otherwise you could damage your game! Vehicles - Real car mods for GTA 4 that make the game even more realistic! Guns - Getting tired of the same guns through the whole game? Try these! Scripts and modifications - If you feel like the game is pretty limited and misses some customization features you need these! Player skins - Find Niko to ugly or do you like fashion and the clothes in GTAs' shops aren't classy enough? Download brand new here! Mobile phone - Unfortunately, it's impossible to change the phone's shape, but you can change it's wallpaper, although it's not really interesting. Other - You cannot find what you're looking for through the other websites? Buildings cannot be added but they sure can be replaced!
